Met my challenge today as well! :) I'm going through a list of hurt/comfort prompts to (hopefully) get back my writing habit, in a low pressure way.

Sentence that made me chuckle today: "Remarkably, he doesn't die, which he's very thankful for."

Still going for the day but I figured I'd report back, I'm approaching 1k today which is neat because I was aiming for 100! Lately I've been inspired by music videos, it's been fun to write about musicians because there's a bit of fiction to work off of in some of those videos.

My current fic is something silly and kind of hard to explain, but here's a bit from it:

It's not all that surprising to Matt. He always figured once Alex retired from music, he'd drop off the grid, move somewhere in the middle of the woods and go full hippie. But he thought would happen when they hit their seventies or something… not at the ripe age of thirty.

That's an intriguing snippet. Makes me want to know more about who the characters are, and what their lives are like to end up in that position.
